Description

"Altes Land Museum" located in nord Germany has a stormy history from the beginning, more than 280 years ago, that I tried to capture with this photograph. The stormy Westerjork 49 house's history began more than 280 years ago at the end of Westerjork. Its owner had gotten into financial trouble. The bankruptcy proceedings were opened in 1821 and the farm was sold in 19 lots. This is how a court story that began in Westerjork as early as 1524 ended. Johann Mählmann bought the building, completely demolished the house, which was destroyed by a storm, and probably rebuilt it in 1825 on the foundations of the burned house in Westerjork 49. No longer inhabited after 1978, it falls into ruins more and more. The Westerjork 49 building has housed Jork's "Altes Land Museum" since 1990 and is a typical farmhouse (Fachhallenhaus) of the Altländer (Ancient Lands), 35 m long, 17 m wide and 12 m high. The development of the Altes Land and the life of its inhabitants is presented on an exhibition area of 320 square meters.

IT: La storia tempestosa della casa Westerjork 49 è iniziata più di 280 anni fa alla fine di Westerjork. Il suo proprietario si era messo nei guai finanziari. La procedura fallimentare fu aperta nel 1821 e la fattoria fu venduta in 19 lotti. È così che finì una storia di corte iniziata a Westerjork già nel 1524. Johann Mählmann acquistò l'edificio, demolì completamente la casa, che fu distrutta da una tempesta, e probabilmente la ricostruì nel 1825 sulle fondamenta della casa bruciata a Westerjork 49. Non più abitata dopo il 1978, cade in rovina sempre di più. DE: Die wechselvolle Geschichte des Hauses beginnt vor mehr als 280 Jahren am Ende von Westerjork. Sein Besitzer kam in Geldschwierigkeiten. 1821 wurde über den Hof das Konkursverfahren eröffnet und der Hof in 19 Parzellen verkauft. So ging eine Hofgeschichte zu Ende, die bereits 1524 in Westerjork begann. Johann Mählmann erwarb das Gebäude, brach das durch einen Sturm zerstörte Haus völlig ab und baute es wohl 1825 auf den Grundmauern des abgebrannten Hauses in Westerjork 49 wieder auf. Nach 1978 nicht mehr bewohnt, zerfiel es mehr und mehr. Seit 1990 beherbergt das Gebäude Westerjork 49 das Museum Altes Land in Jork. Das Haus ist ein typischer Vertreter des Altländer Fachhallenhauses, 35 m lang, 17 m breit und 12 m hoch. Auf einer Ausstellungsfläche von 320 m² wird die Entwicklung des Alten Landes und das Leben seiner Bewohner.
